Our Story
Inspired by botanical science and the art of simplicity, our mission is to provide high quality, plant-based, biocompatible skincare that is designed for all skin types. Our passion for botanical science has propelled us to dedicate years of R&D to identify and harness the natural healing power within plants. As a skincare brand rooted in science, we only utilize proven active ingredients that have been validated for their efficacy.
Our desire to innovate new remedies to better the health and well-being of people is why we choose to work closely with scientists, chemists, and doctors in the formulation process. We do not develop formulations we do not believe in, and prioritize safety and efficacy above all else. We eliminate all the irrelevant noise often prevalent in skincare, which is why we make formulations and routines as simplistic, natural, and fundamental as possible.

An Efficacy Driven Approach To Beauty
To obtain real, visible results from your skincare routine, the products you use require the ability to travel into the deep layers of the skin. More specifically, the functional compounds and active ingredients must be able to penetrate the stratum corneum and below, in order to provide any long-lasting benefits or changes to the skin. Unfortunately, many formulations and the chemicals they contain, possess molecules that are too large to pass through the skin barrier. Without an effective delivery system into the skin, the active ingredients will fail to be absorbed, and simply evaporate at the surface, no matter how great the formulation may be.
We recognize this principle, and have dedicated significant efforts and resources into developing a delivery mechanism which ensures that our formulation is able to successfully penetrate the skin to promote change. Our patented LipoButy™ technology is engineered to effectively safeguard and transport the formula into the skin, preserving the integrity of active ingredients. Analysis in Fluorescent Intensity indicates that with the application of LipoButy™ technology, our formulations were 10X more prominent in the skin at 180μm when compared to other Non-LipoButy™ products, revealing increased efficacy through better absorption and penetration.
Clean and Pure Ingredients
Your health and well-being takes priority above all else, which is why we are commited to using clean and pure ingredients in our skincare. All of our products are formulated without any harsh chemicals, irritants, allergens, fragrance, mineral oil, heavy metals, parabens, sulfate detergents, gluten, GMOs, petroleum, paraffin, SLS/SLES, TEA, and DEA. Our formulations comply with the European Cosmetic Regulation, the most stringent cosmetic regulation in the world, which bans 1328 ingredients that are known to be toxic to the body. We also do not use any synthetic fragrances, due to the possibility of causing severe allergic reactions.
All ingredients are responsibly and ethically sourced.

Green and Sustainable Manufacturing
Sustainability is key to the longevity and well-being of our planet. With this in mind, we manufacture all of our products in a certified Green and Zero Carbon Factory. This means that our factory has met all the established sustainability standards and earned certifications in its eco-friendly design, harvest of renewable energy, conservation of natural resources, and waste and pollution management. We are proud to announce that our manufacturing facility has been awarded with the notable PAS 2060 Certification, a testament of our commitment to being carbon neutral.

FSC
Our product outer boxes are FSC certified, meaning that they are sourced from forests that have been audited by an independent third-party to ensure conformity with FSC’s rigorous social and environmental standards.
PAS 2060 (Specification for the Demonstration of Carbon Neutrality):
PAS 2060 is the internationally recognised specification for carbon neutrality and builds on the existing PAS 2050 environmental standard. It sets out requirements for quantification, reduction and offsetting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for organizations, products and events.
SOYINK
For printing on the packaging on our products, we use SOYINK- a plant-based ink made from soybeans. Compared to petroleum-based ink, SOYINK is four times more biodegradable and contains less harmful VOC (volatile organic compounds) than its traditional counterpart.
NOISSUE PACKAGING
We are mindful of being sustainable in all steps of our packaging. By sourcing our mailer bags from NOISSUE- a leader in sustainable, compostable packaging, we are ensuring that even the last touch of our packaging process is gentle to our planet.
DERMATEST
To ensure that our products are safe for all skin types, we engaged an independent third party to do comprehensive testing on sensitive skin.
We are proud to receive excellent results and be dermatologist-tested.

We do not incorporate any banned ingredients or harmful chemicals into our skincare formulas. We comply with the European Cosmetic Regulation, which bans 1328 ingredients that are known to be harmful to the body. Our formulations are always non-toxic and produced from the finest ingredients.

We believe that it is our duty and responsibility to preserve the earth and its natural resources for future generations. From formulation, manufacturing, to packaging, we will always seek the solution that is the most gentle and respectful to our planet.
